Who we are

Rural Logistics is an operating division of Rural Exports LLC, a Texas limited liability company in Sulphur Springs, Texas. This policy covers rural-logistics.com and the information you send us in connection with it.

Information we collect

This site has no forms and sets no advertising or analytics trackers. When you contact us, you do so by email, and we receive what you send: your name, organization, email address, and the contents of your message. If you request a copy of a publication, such as the Load Leverage program, we keep your request so we can send it and follow up.

Our hosting provider records basic technical information common to all websites, such as IP address, pages requested, and browser type. We use it only to operate and secure the site.

The client portal

Clients with portal access create an account with a name, organization, email address, and password. During onboarding, identity verification is performed by Stripe Identity; your identification documents go to Stripe, not to us, and we receive the verification result. Portal accounts and the requests you submit through the portal are stored with our database provider. The portal uses the cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in, and nothing more.

How we use information

We use what you send us to respond, to evaluate and manage engagements, to deliver documents you request, and to keep the records our contracts and the law require. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Sharing

Information is shared only with the service providers that operate this site, our email, our database, and identity verification; with specialists when needed to scope or deliver work you have asked about; and where disclosure is required by law or by the terms of a government contract.

Retention and your choices

We keep records as long as needed for the purposes above and for our business records, including records federal contracts require us to keep. To request a copy of the information we hold about you, a correction, or deletion, use the contact form on the home page. We will honor the request except where a contract or law requires us to keep the record.

Other terms

This site is not directed to individuals under 18. Information is processed and stored in the United States. If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
